Why I do this work

I had my first birthing experience in 2014 when I gave birth to my son with the care and support of two midwives and two support persons in the comfort of my own home. The support I received was key to my outlook on birth and the empowerment I felt afterward. I felt a calling after to find a place in the birthwork community and continue my education. While I know that my clients’ birthing preferences may not align with my experience, it is my desire to provide birthing people with education of options and the care and support they deserve.
